Jeannine Polk
Jeannine Polk has deep roots in Punta Gorda, having moved here with her family, as a young child, in 1973. After graduating from Charlotte High School (Class of ’84), and earning her education degree from the University of South Florida (Tampa ’88), she returned to Charlotte County, where she married Mike Polk, a proud 6th generation Punta Gordian, whose family lineage goes back to both the West Coast and the Punta Gorda Fish Companies. Together, they raised two sons in the community both of whom are now thriving in the construction industry. Their commitment to family and local heritage is a testament to their love for this beautiful area and its rich history.
